Minor Patch – 0.21.5 (Dec. 16, 2020)

Hey gang, Aesop here with the patch notes! Finally! There’s a couple small changes; tweaks to numbers and some bug fixes that you should check out below.
Remember, as always, this is a minor patch – only the last digit has changed. There will be a major update coming up with the release of Emma, the Magnificent, next week! (Along with some other stuff. Remember to check out our roadmap to get a glimpse of what else is headed your way.)

Character

High Pick Rate Criteria

A specific character-to-weapon pick rate that is higher than 8.3% (~1.5/18) means that one character + weapon combination is often found multiple times in a single match.
If a pick rate exceeds 8.3% in top ranks, this indicates a high possibility of a problem – even if the win rate is low.
In overall statistics, the pick rate is more loosely based on the free character rotation.
Chiara (rapier) and Shoichi (dagger) both have high pick rates in higher tiers, leading to their adjustments.

Character-weapon mode correction

Some characters have (vastly) different solo/duo/squad rates with different weapons, so certain weapons can result in a low win rate in certain modes. Notably, Hyejin (Shuriken) and Yuki (Dual Swords) have low win rates in all three modes. This is difficult to adjust as they share weapons with other characters.
In next week’s update (0.22.0), we will change the current mode correction value from character to character-weapon combination to help close the gap between weapon types on characters.

Extra note:

  • When you try to craft a weapon while having the material in both your inventory equipped, you will use the equipped material to craft it.
  • Going forward, if you craft while having a material using two slots of your inventory, the stack with the fewest materials will be used first for crafting.
