[Bug Fixes and Improvements]

  • Li Dailin – The casting bar when activating Bottom Shelf(W) will no longer have a delay

[Weapon]

  • Omnisyphon has been added as a Unique Passive. Unlike Life Steal that originally only heals off Basic Attacks, Omnisyphone heals based on all damage dealt (excluding trap damage). Healing is 50% less effective from AOE damage.

[Additional Change during the 0.38.0 Update]

The location of a box in Dock has been moved.
Although this change was supposed to be in our last major patch, we forgot to mention it before.

New Character – Jan

Oh? You’re approaching Jan?

Lumia’s Kickboxing contender, Jan, is ready to break some bones on Lumia Island

Jan will cost 9,900 A-Coin for 2 weeks and he will be available in ranked matches starting from Sunday, August 8th 11:00 PM (PT).

Unyielding(Passive)

Jan gains a stack of Unyielding each time he deals damage. When he has at least 5 stacks of Unyielding, his next basic skill consumes stacks, enhancing it, and reducing its cooldown by 10/25/40% .

Knee Strike(Q)

Jan attacks with a knee strike, dealing 60/80/100/120/140(+Attack Power 30%) damage to enemies and slowing them by 60% for 1 seconds. Reactivate to use Leaping Knee.

Enhanced: Reduces enemy’s defense by 30% for 4 seconds.

  • Cooldown: 13/12/11/10/9s
  • SP Cost :  70/75/80/85/90
  • Reactivation Duration: 3s
  • Range : 2m

Leaping Knee(Q2)

Jan launches a flying knee strike, dealing 85/110/135/160/185(+Attack Power 45%) damage to enemies and knocking them airborne for 0.85 second.

Enhanced: Hitting an enemy will reset the cooldown of Bob and Weave.

  • Range : 3m

Tomahawk Roundhouse(W)

Jan sweeps the area in front of him with a kick, dealing 80/110/140/170/200(+Attack Power 40%) damage to enemies in range. Enemies hit in the outer cone will be knocked back.

Enhanced: Deals 110/140/170/200/230(+Attack Power 60%) damage and knocks back all enemies in range. Enemies knocked into terrain are stunned for 1 seconds.

  • Cooldown: 17s
  • SP Cost : 60/65/70/75/80
  • Range : Cone shape 3m
  • Knock Back Range : 4m

Bob and Weave(E)

Jan dashes forward and causes his next basic attack to deal 20/30/40/50/60(+Attack Power 35%) extra basic attack damage. Hitting Knee Strike or Tomahawk Roundhouse after dashing heals him for 40/45/50/55/60% percent of damage dealt, increasing by 200% based on his missing HP. Jan can Bob and Weave while using Tomahawk Roundhouse.

Enhanced: The cooldown of Bob and Weave is reduced by 40%.

  • Cooldown: 20/18/16/14/12s
  • SP Cost : 90
  • Dash Range :  2.5m

The Tetragon(R)

Jan summons a square ring for 6.5 seconds, granting him 1 stack of Unyielding every second. Enemies that touch the ropes are slowed by 80% for 2 seconds and take 50/75/100(+Attack Power 45%) damage. Enemies that are knocked back into the ropes are then knocked back towards the center of the ring and stunned for 1.3 seconds. Ropes disappear upon contact.

Killing a player inside the ring grants 5 stacks of Unyielding and increases Jan’s movement speed by 35% for 3 seconds.

System

Wild Animal Timer

Showing the time before animals spawn should allow for more strategic movement.

  • Enabling the Info Overlay by pressing Alt or toggling the Overlay (F8) will show the remaining spawn time for Wolves and Bears.
  • The overlay will only work for areas with vision and will not display timers for animals out of vision.

Zoom-In Feature

Get up close and personal with your favorite characters.

You can now use the mouse wheel to zoom in!

Try it out when you want to have a closer look at your test-subjects or Lumia Island or if you want to challenge yourself with some crazy POV.

Controlling characters will feel smoother.

  • Fixed an issue where characters will not take the shortest path to their destination due to navigation meshes.
  • We improved the pathfinding precision algorithm to reduce stuttering while moving.

LP Low Placement Calibration

It’s not entirely accurate to say that the difference between 18th and 17th place is due to skill difference. We’re expanding the existing Low Placement Calibration from Gold to Platinum.

  • Solo: LP for 17~18th place will now be calculated as 16th place for Platinum or higher.
  • Duo: LP for 9th place will now be calculated as 8th place for Platinum or higher.
  • Calibration for Gold or lower will stay the same with a slightly higher calibration rate.

Order Ping

New order pings for better communication in team modes.

  • CTRL + Left-Click Drag can be used for Order Pings.
  • Communication such as “Where are we going?” “Let’s group up”, “I need food”, etc are now available through pings.

Kill bonus for Team Modes

We’re adding bonuses for killing other players in team modes. HP & SP regen could prove to be too snowbally in team modes, so we’re starting with just the timers first.

  • Confirming a kill grants 5s of detonation timer to all alive team members.
  • No bonuses are granted when downing enemies.

Alpha & Omega Improvements

Alpha & Omega will appear in more locations and will grant a  detonation timer boost for slaying Omega to promote killing Omega in a restricted area.

  • Factory has been added to Alpha & Omega spawn points.
  • Alpha & Omega are now always displayed on the minimap. (Trees of Life are also always displayed.)
  • Killing Omega will regenerate your HP, SP, and detonation timer. (All teammates will receive the bonuses in Team Modes)
    • Solo: HP & SP (10 + Level * 2)% + 7s of Detonation Timer
    • Duo: HP & SP (10 + Level)% + 6s of Detonation Timer
    • Squad: HP & SP (10 + Level * 0.5)% + 4s of Detonation Timer

Acceleration Influx Perimeter Improvements

Okay, we definitely heard you. We’ll focus on boosting survivability in the early game but keeping the late game less of a chase-fest. Perimeters will not regen after Day 2.

  • Acceleration Influx Perimeters will behave as usual on Day 1.
  • Acceleration Influx Perimeters used on Day 2 and beyond will not reappear after use.
  • Acceleration Influx Perimeters that are not used during Day 2 or later will remain as active.

Player Profile Customization

Customize your profile! Make it feel like home!

  • Icons, Borders, Backgrounds can be selected
  • You can currently select your reward for last season. New icons, backgrounds, borders are being prepared for events or purchase in the future.
  • The set Player Profile is displayed during the Ranked Match loading screen.

Camera Installation during actions

Easier warding on the move.

  • Installing a Camera no longer cancels commands such as movement or collecting.
  • More consecutive interactions are now possible with the delay gone.
  • Cameras & Drones can also be used during Hyperloop After-Use effects.
  • Some skills are now usable on Camera/Drones. We plan to include other skills into this pool in the future!
  • Crafting Cameras or drones now give Search mastery instead of Trap mastery.

Game Results Chatting

Keep it PG ladies and gentlemen.

  • You can now chat with all players in the lobby during the game results screen.
  • However, players who are still in-game or closed the results screen can not see the chat.

Other Improvements

  • Fixed a number of blind spots all over Lumia Island caused by the recent vision system changes.
  • There is now a 5 second warning screen before leaving(forfeiting) a game.
  • Added a button to copy Custom Game room code.
  • Overall improvements for Optimization have been processed.
    • The current optimization problems regarding frame drops are difficult for us to replicate due to the varying results across different computers.
    • Although we’ve made some improvements, we need a wide investigation for specific hardware or situations to solve the issue. Please report any frame drop issues that you find and we’ll try our best to help to solve the problem.
    • We’re currently working on extra optimization fixes and hope that we push them out through a hotfix next week.

Character

Not really a ‘Character’ point, but ‘Normal Attacks’ have been reworded to ‘Basic Attacks’ for better clarity and ease of understanding. Keep an eye out for the changes!!

Nathapon

Nathapon showed a strong presence in the early game but tended to fall off in the late game. We’re buffing his ‘per Level’ stats but adjusting his damage for Team Modes where he is already a big threat.

Bug Fixes & Improvements

Gameplay Improvements 

  • Entering ‘Stasis’ now blocks all interactions with the target
  • Knockback skills with shorter duration no longer cancel longer Airborne effects. 
  • Security console will no longer grant vision inside certain buildings in Alley. 
  • The skill order for saved plans will be properly displayed in-game. 
  • Tree of Life overlay will no longer remain during the game.
  • The hide nickname function is now correctly applied to dead characters and wild animals. 
  • The tooltip for Claymore stun time is now displayed correctly.
  • Food will no longer be usable during Hyperloop After Use effects.  
  • EMP drone effects will be properly applied even when two EMP are used consecutively.
  • Collected materials that exceed the max stack allowed will no longer cause the remainder of the collected material to disappear. 
  • The map will no longer display Wickeline after she is killed. 
  • Font size for items will no longer change randomly.
  • Voice lines when discovering an enemy corpse will no longer trigger when a teammate is killed in team modes.
  • When using the option to hide the chat UI in game, the in-game chat option will no longer turn on by itself when a system message is displayed.
  • Toggling the Information Overlay Lock (F8) will no longer display used revive terminals. 
  • Equipped items on the Scoreboard(TAB) will no longer be draggable.
  • Wild animals will now act correctly to their aggro gauge.
  • The mouse icon will not display air supplies as opened when the command was canceled midway. 
  • Reconnecting to the match will no longer display 99 for weapon mastery level and kills.

Character/Weapon Improvements 

  • Nathapon – Timelapse(W) effects will be displayed properly when used inside objects like boxes and trees. 
  • Nathapon – Panorama(E) will fully knock back enemies towards the mark on all occasions. 
  • Nathapon – Improved visibility for F-Stop(R)’s hitbox area effect. 
  • Nathapon – Surveillance Cameras and objects will no longer play F-Stop(R)’s hit effects and sounds.
  • Nathapon – Fishing sound is now correctly synced. 
  • Nicky – Other skill icons are now displayed as unusable when casting Slugfest(Q) or Guard & Reverse(W). 
  • Lenox – Adhesive bandage can no longer be obtained from Bait and Tackle(P). 
  • Rozzi – Easy Shot(Q) dash can no longer be used when silenced, rooted, polymorphed, or dancing. 
  • Li Dailin –  Bottom Shelf(E) is fixed to no longer have a slight delay after casting.
  • Li Dailin – The animation and sound for collecting resources are no longer sped up. 
  • Rio – Critical strike damage will now properly calculate the altered damage from Hassetsu(P) . 
  • Rio – Hassetsu(P)’s armor penetration will now work properly after resetting in practice mode. 
  • Barbara – BT Sentry Gun Mk.II(Q) that are disabled by EMP drones will attack correctly after the EMP effect wears off. 
  • Shoichi – Camera angles are fixed to give more clarity for Shoichi’s dagger collection range.
  • Sissela – Free at Last(R) will properly damage dummies in practice mode. 
  • Adriana – Adriana’s location will be correctly synced when Fire Escape(E) is used. 
  • Adriana – The range effects for Cocktail Party(R) will no longer be covered by bushes. 
  • Alex – Infiltration will no longer end instantly when Alex kills an enemy with his melee basic attack. 
  • Eleven – Clicking on an object while charging Burger Queen(Q) or Food for Thought(W) will no longer ignore movement commands. 
  • Eleven – Using On Air!(E) will no longer change other player’s camera angles. 
  • Hyejin – When changing weapons to bow, there will no longer be a delay for the bow to be displayed. 
  • Sniper Rifle – Triggering Ballistic Advantage(D) by clicking on the skill icon will no longer cause it to fire towards the direction of the Research Center. 

Lobby Improvements

  • When typing in the Saved plan description, the scroll bar will no longer drop to the bottom regardless of the mouse cursor’s position. 
  • Duo/Squad ‘Show team colors’ option text will be correctly displayed in Options. 
  • In the character selection screen, if you unselect your character at the last second of the first countdown, you will no longer be able to change your character during the second countdown. 
  • The numbers for mouse sensitivity will be displayed correctly. 
  • Saved plans for the 6th slot or after will be displayed correctly during saved plan selection. 
  • Product details (Pop-Up) in Emote store will be correctly displayed when having insufficient NP. 
  • The ‘Invalid friend request’ will no longer be displayed when pushing the accept friend request button at the same time. 

Tutorial Improvements 

  • Chapter 3 –  Waiting for the Crafting tutorial after already crafting all items will no longer display the Hyperloop guide at the same time.
  • Chapter 3 – Using Hyperloop while the Crafting tutorial is displayed will no longer display the item looting guide at the same time.
