System

Highlight: Team Mode Auto Revive

Auto Revive has been added to team modes. Take more chances at a lower risk and don’t stress out about losing your teammates early.

  • Up to day 2, players will revive after a duration if at least one of their teammates are alive.

    • Revive timers start as soon as the player is downed.

    • If the whole team is wiped, the team’s experiment is terminated.

  • After the revive timer finishes, a revive hyperloop will pop up and allow you to select an area to respawn in.

    • If the reviving player is still downed, they will be instantly killed and revived.

    • Not selecting an area within 30s revives you in a random area.

  • Starting from Day 3, players can no longer revive.

    • There are a total of 9 safe areas in Day 3.

    • This means up to 9 teams in duos and 6 teams in squads can be alive at the start of Day 3 if there were no team wipes.

  • The original revive terminal system has been removed.

  • It is now easier to kill downed enemies at lower levels.

    • Damage Reduction when Downed: 75+0.8*Level % → 40+0.13*Level^2 %

  • Mode adjustments in team modes are being shifted overall. (Check Mode Adjustments)

Pork Chop

Just like how it works in real life.

  • Boar charges can now be utilized to jump over walls or otherwise impassable terrain.

Active Item Effects

Might swing the fight your way.

  • Active item effects will only be found on a few accessories.

  • Usable buttons will appear above your equipped items and can also be cast using hotkeys.

    • The default hotkey is set to F1 but will be empty if F1 is already being used as a hotkey.

    • Hotkeys can be changed in Settings.

  • Alt + Left Clicking can ping the remaining effect cooldown to your teammates.

  • We’re monitoring the rollout of items so some effects may change during the pre-season.

Box Size Increase & Box, Starting Point Improvements

Boxes will now be bigger and contain more materials for easier and faster looting. Disadvantages caused by starting points are also improved, along with some loot clusters.

  • Box Size: Small - 3 , Medium - 4, Large - 5 -> Small / Medium: 5 , Large: 6

  • This results in an approximate 40% increase in materials.

  • The Box & Starting Point Map can be seen below.

  • It is now much easier to secure materials without always following loot clusters. Loot clusters are also planned to be displayed in a future version of the game.

Shorter Day Cycle

To match the changed looting speed due to increased materials, the day cycle will be adjusted to compensate for the faster tempo. (Total 100s reduction)

  • Day 1 Day 180s → 170s

  • Day 1 Night 160s → 140s

  • Day 2 Day 160s → 140s

  • Day 2 Night 140s (Unchanged)

  • Day 3 Day 140s → 125s

  • Day 3 Night 140s → 125s

  • Day 4 Day 120s → 110s

  • Day 4 Night 120s → 110s

Objective spawn times have been adjusted based on the changed cycle.

  • Meteorite

    • 3 minutes/5 minutes 40 seconds/8 minutes 20 seconds/11 minutes → 2 minutes 50 seconds/5 minutes 10 seconds/7 minutes 30 seconds/9 minutes 50 seconds (Every full cycle change)

    • The 4th meteorite will now be aligned with the change of cycle.

  • Tree of Life: 3 minutes/8 minutes 20 seconds → 2 minutes 50 seconds/7 minutes 30 seconds (Day 1,2 Night)

  • Alpha: 5 minutes 40 seconds → 5 minutes 10 seconds (Day 2 Day)

  • Omega: 10 minutes 40 seconds → 9 minutes 50 seconds (Day 3 Day)

  • Dr. Wickeline: 13 minutes → 11 minutes 55 seconds (Day 3 Night)

Wild Animal Changes

More animals for everyone.

  • First Appearance

    • Bat 80 → 70s

    • Boar 120s → 100s

    • Wild Dog 60s → 50s

    • Wolf 120 → 110s

    • Bear 180 → 170s

  • Respawn Time

    • Chicken 90s → 75s

    • Bat 135s → 120s

    • Boar 135s → 120s

    • Wild Dog 180s → 130s

    • Wolf 180s → 150s

    • Bear 240s → 210s

  • EXP

    • Chicken 80 + 8 per Level —> 70 + 7 per Level

    • Bat 140 + 14 per Level —> 126 + 12 per Level

    • Boar 220 + 22 per Level —> 200 + 20 per Level

    • Wild Dog 200 + 18 per Level —> 170 + 15 per Level

    • Wolf 200+ 18 per Level —> 180 + 16 per Level

    • Bear 290 + 18 per Level —> 260 + 16 per Level

Combat Ping Deletion

Unlike CCTV or surveillance cameras that provide information to both parties, combat pings were often only helpful for third partying. They’re gone.

  • Basic attacking will no longer cause Combat pings. Firing guns and stepping on traps will also not cause combat pings.

  • Pings for killing players/wild animals, crafting, opening air supplies, collecting(low chance), opening boxes (low chance), and hyperloop arrival will still happen as usual.

  • With the shortened respawn time of wild animals, animal kill pings are more important than before.

Temporary & Final Restricted Area Improvements

Some temporary restricted areas were too easy for a third party to take advantage of. Those are being adjusted. Final restricted areas near the security console will better match the area instead of being just a square.

  • Temporary Restricted Areas: Dotted White Line (Original) → Red Line(Change)

  • Final Restricted Area Changes: Dotted Red line (Original) → Green Line(Change)

Level Gap Bonus Adjustment

Avoiding combat in the early game results in a harder time catching up in Weapon mastery. Weapon mastery catch up was a little too strong when behind.

  • The “catch up” mechanic for gaps in levels now provides more level exp instead of mastery exp.

  • As a result, players can catch up in terms of levels, but it will be harder to catch up in terms of mastery.

Mute Lobby BGM

Do do do dooo do do do. That's one of the lobby songs.

  • A mute lobby BGM has been added.

  • If you want to mute the lobby BGM without also turning off background sounds, select the mute BGM in your Collection.

Pathfinding Improvements

For the characters who always seem to want to take the scenic route. Pathfinding algorithms are kinda tricky.

  • Pathfinding has been changed from one-directional verification to sideways verification which should help with more precise pathfinding.

Rest Recovery Increase

'Enhanced' resting giving better recovery.

  • HP Recovery: 10 + Level * 0.5 + 1% of Max HP → 10 + Level * 1 + 1% of Max HP

Pre-Season Changes

Players tend to finish their builds by day 1, but the power that the items provided tend to be too strong in the mid-game as players make their way to level 20.

For the pre-season, we’re attempting to shift offensive stats from items onto the stats of characters.

Food recovery will also be decreased and shifted toward HP Regen options. We’ll still be making sure no “Tank HP Regen” builds swarm the meta. Unlike food, which is available to everyone, characters will now have to decide whether to build life steal or HP regen based on their strengths and weaknesses.

Also with the change of game tempo following short day/night cycles, characters with long ult cooldowns will be slightly compensated.

  • All Characters

    • Attack Power +10, Movement Speed +0.05

  • Melee Characters

    • HP Regen & HP Regen per Level Increase (+200%)

  • Ranged Characters

    • HP Regen & HP Regen per Level Increase (+50%) (Adela and Alex will be categorized as Ranged characters)

Category dependent changes:

  • Small cooldown reduction for ults with long cooldowns.

  • Nerf adjustments to Attack Power, Extra Basic Attack Damage, Extra Skill Damage on weapons.

  • Nerf adjustments to Food HP Recovery.

  • Fixed HP Regen Removal & Introduction of HP Regen(%) options
