Eternal Return Masters 2023 Season 1 Phase 3 Results

*We apologize for the delay in uploading due to the Korean Thanksgiving holiday and ask for your patience and understanding.

Hello Lumia Island Survivors,
The Eternal Return Masters 2023 Season 1 Phase 3, which took place last week from September 22nd to 24th, has come to a close.

There were plenty of new teams that we didn't get to see in Phase 2, as well as some of the old favorites showing off their skill and experience, so let's take a look at some of the best moments from these Phase 3 matches!

DAY 1 : GROUP STAGE

The first Group A match saw two teams that have been performing well throughout Season 1, Naerreum and OwO, advance directly to the Finals without any major upsets. Both teams showed the kind of steady form that is typical of teams coming into the Finals.

The battle between team MZ and team JJunJJun saw both teams' Leons hit the jackpot with their ultimates. Cry's Leon landed his ultimate on three players on team MZ, and in response, Gilcera Pokpo's Leon hit all three players on team JJunJJun, resulting in the MZ victory.

Luminal from Byte Breakers had a great performance as Shoichi. In a battle against the Family Man team in Uptown, he was the last survivor and won the battle, and we’re sure many Shoichi users cheered as it was Shoichi's first time being played in a tournament in a long time.

In Group B, traditional powerhouse New Clear and ER Fighting made it straight to the finals. But the matches were so close that there was less than a 10-point difference between first and third place, and it seemed like many teams really brought their A-game.

Although they didn't make it to the final survival, Tricksters' 100soo pulled off a 1v3 clutch that left a lasting impression. Against a relatively time-consuming Fairy team, 100soo made a spectacular play in the temporary Restricted Area, withstanding the opponent's heavy fire and successfully earning both the rank and the kill.

With a whopping 20 kills and a final survival, ER Fighting were the winners of Group B. The ER Fighting team, which took 23 points in the 3rd round thanks to a combination of sensible grabs and excellent fighting skills, went straight to the finals by scoring well in other rounds.

DAY 2 : WILDCARDS

In the Wildcards match, a showdown of teams that couldn't afford to miss out on the chance to earn the final circuit points, Fairy, Tricksters, Favor, and Nunchi made it to the finals.

Team Nunchi also did a great job of constantly bringing out Arda, and it was impressive to see Markus holding on for dear life with the help of Arda and Silvia. Myeongjo's teammates' chemistry with Markus was a highlight!

When it comes to big moments for the Trickster team, 100soo always seems to come through. In round 4, he was able to precisely match the weapon skill “Breath of the Dragon” in the middle of a difficult battle, and then followed it up with a blast to take his opponent, Silvia, off the battlefield. It was a play that showed a great deal of battle concentration, and we can't wait to see how he performs in the finals!

DAY 3 : FINALS

In the final, the last chance to earn circuit points for the season, Team Favor took home the win, beating the other teams even with pure points.

OwO and Newclear were the first teams to take the lead in Early Game. In the second round, where the two teams met in the final restricted area, the OwO team scored 10 kills and survived the final, while the Newclear team scored a lot of points with 17 kills and took second place. It's been a while since we've seen a love shot situation where Revolu and Romatic go down at the same time, which seems to be proof that the round was that intense.

The second half of the match saw Favor's onslaught and clean finishes. Following up on a precise DPS bite finish against Team Fairy in Round 6, they closed out the game early in Round 7 with a well-timed battle to secure the final survival. Here's hoping for a great performance from Team Favor in the season finals!

That's it for Phase 3 of Eternal Return Masters Season 1. With all the Circuit Points awarded for the season, let's see which teams have the most of them.

Teams earn Circuit Points for competing throughout the season, with the top four teams in Circuit Points advancing to Day 2 of the Season Finals, the next six to Day 1 of the Season Finals, and the bottom two to the LCQs. Stay tuned for the LCQ on October 15th, where the remaining finalists will be selected!
