Spectator seats will be available starting at 1:00 p.m. and do not require a reservation, so come and watch the tournament and cheer on your favorite teams and players!
*How were the participating teams selected?
In the first esports season after Official Launch, a total of 10 teams earned Circuit Points through the three Eternal Return Masters tournaments to get a spot in the Season 1 Finals. In the Season 1 Finals LCQ, two teams were able to get their last chance to qualify for the Season Finals, and we're looking forward to seeing if they can pull off the upset in the main event!
From MIRAEN SEJONG (formerly Naerreum) in 1st place in Circuit Points to Newclear in 4th place, only four teams advanced to the finals on Day 2, and from Asher in 5th place to Wild Hunter (formerly Family Man) in 2nd place in the LCQ, only four teams made it through Day 1.
Let's take a look at the players on each team in the images below.
*How do the Season Finals work?
If you're new to Eternal Return esports, you may be a little unfamiliar with how points are calculated within a match. To get you started, here's a quick overview of how Eternal Return works.
- Each team receives one kill point for each kill, based on their "field kills," which are their total kills excluding Battle Zone kills.
- Each team earns ranking points based on their final ranking: 8 for 1st, 5 for 2nd, 4 for 3rd, 3 for 4th, 2 for 5th and 1 for 6th. .
- The points earned during the round are then added together to determine each team's total score, and teams are ranked according to their total score unless there are other winning conditions.
This year's Season Finals will be run differently than in the past, with a single Squad Mode. There will be two separate days, Day 1 for the Semifinals and Day 2 for the Finals, and we'll explain a little more about how each will work.
First, Day 1 of the Semifinals will feature eight teams competing: Asher, Tricksters, Fairy, ER Fighting, Happy Gaming, and ClusteR, ranked 5th to 10th in Circuit Points, as well as MZ Club and Wild Hunter, who advanced through LCQ. A total of 6 rounds will be played on Day 1, and the 4 teams with the most points over 6 rounds will advance to Day 2. Teams will be expected to give it their all, as they will need to perform well on Day 1 in order to make it to Day 2 and challenge for the title.
Day 2 of the Finals will feature MIRAEN SEJONG, OwO, Favor, and Newclear, who ranked 1st to 4th in Circuit Points, as well as the four teams that finished 4th or higher on Day 1. The ‘Checkpoint rule’ introduced in Eternal Return esports will be applied to the Finals. The checkpoint is 55 points, and the first team to reach it and survive the subsequent rounds will be the winner, with the rest of the placings below 2nd place determined by the order of points earned. As the players continue to work on the rules, we can't wait to see which team will emerge victorious in this Season Finals.

*Season 1 Finals Cosplay Guidelines
There are always a lot of people who come to the event in various costumes to make Daejeon a Lumia Island. If you're looking to get in on the cosplay action, here are some of the on-site amenities for cosplayers.
First up are the men's and women's locker rooms. If you walk across the first floor of the stadium, you'll find two locker rooms, one for men and one for women. The dressing rooms next door can be used for makeup and self-storage of luggage, but since they are self-contained, it is recommended to keep valuables separate to prevent theft.
For each of our major offline events, we'll be handing out special badges emblazoned with the name of the event, and this year's theme is "Summer Party Magician Emma," who is also the main character in the Season Pack. You can get your badge at the information desk while in costume, but please note that each person can only get one on either day.
