PATCH NOTES 1.21 - May 09th, 2024

Servers will be temporarily offline for an estimated time of 4 hours on May 9th from 2 AM to 6 AM (UTC) to update Patch 1.21.

Season 3 Ranked Season is coming to an end! 

The 1.21 Update is the last update of Season 3. You can continue to climb up the ladder until Wednesday, May 22nd 23:59 (UTC).

We are avoiding any significant balancing changes during this critical period to ensure the stability of your tier rankings.

Season 4 Saved Plans Reset 

Season 4 will see major improvements in Augments and Items. The Augment system in particular will be completely revamped, which will lead to an inevitable reset of the Saved Plans database during the opening of Season 4 in the 1.22 Update on Thursday, May 23rd.

We hope you understand and keep this in mind, especially if you’re a Saved Plan creator.

Nadine

Crossbow Nadine is currently showing a high win rate, particularly standing out in top tiers. We plan to slightly reduce Nadine’s damage in late game to balance it.

Nicky

Nicky continues to maintain a high pick rate and strong performance. As a result, we plan to reduce the damage reduction effect of W - Guard & Reverse to decrease Nicky's durability. Additionally, by reducing the stun duration of the enhanced E - Fury Jab!! when combined with the ultimate, we aim to increase the chance for opponents' responses.

Tia

Tia has been struggling for a long time now. We are increasing the slow effect of Q - Brush Stroke to strengthen her excessively weakened enemy suppression ability and her support to allies. Additionally, we are increasing the damage of Blessed Chipmunk in P - Color Mixing, which has been relatively underperforming compared to other color combinations.

We’re helping Leni be a stronger support to her allies.

Leon

Leon was buffed in the recent patch and is currently showing and overly powerful performance. As a counter measure, we plan to reduce his passive skill’s attack speed increase effect to turn down Glove Leon’s ability to eliminate opponents too quickly.

    • Attack Speed Increase 40/50/60% → 30/40/50%

 

Luke

Luke is currenty showing a low average score gain, so we’re reducing the cooldown of his W skill to help him out with more stable plays.

  • Elbow Grease(W)

Rio

Rio has a high score due to the long range of her Daikyu, but her weak early game performance prevents her effective use. To compensate for this disadvantage, we are increasing the initial damage of her W skill.

    • Hankyu Damage 25/50/75/100/125(+Attack Power 90%) → 50/70/90/110/130(+Attack Power 90%)

Martina

We’re increasing Martina’s Q - Fast Forward damage since her average damage dealt is quite low.

We’re increasing Vanya’s ranged control to help her performance.

We’re helping Charlotte be a stronger support to her allies.

Shoichi is looking pretty strong so we’re adjusting his power a bit.

Arda

The increase in summoning time for W - Babylon's Cube in the 1.19 patch did provide opportunities for counterplay as intended, but it is now considered somewhat excessive. As a result, we will slightly reduce the skill’s summoning time to reach an appropriate level.

    • Summoning Cube 0.3s → 0.26s

    • Summoning Dice 0.3s → 0.26s

       

Aya

We’re giving Assault Rifle Aya a hand since she’s not been performing well.

  • Basic Attack Amplification per Assault Rifle Mastery Level 1.2% → 1.4%

 

Emma

Shuriken Emma is not being used often, so we are increasing her attack speed so she can better utilize her Wind and Fire Wheels’s Biotic Infusion effect, and the basic attack enhancement effect of her passive CheerUP♥.

  • Attack Speed per Shuriken Mastery Level 2% → 2.5%

 

Yuki

Yuki’s basic skill has been underperforming, so we’ll increase his passive’s true damage to enhance his overall power.

Zahir

Shuriken Zahir is not being played often so we’re buffing him.

  • Skill Amplification per Shuriken Mastery Level 3.8% → 4.1%

 

Camilo

Dual Swords Camilo is another one who’s not being played often so we’re also buffing him.

  • Attack speed per Dual Swords Mastery Level 2.6% → 3%

 

Katja

We’re increasing the power of Katja’s R skill, which is quite hard to use during combat, to make sure it serves the purpose of an ult skill.

Chloe

Chloe typically has a strong performance among top tiers sue to her difficulty. However, she is currently showing an excessively strong performance even in common statistics. Therefore, we are reducing the damage of her Q - Nina on Command and her basic attacks to moderate her effectiveness.

  • Emote Wheel used will be correctly displayed.

  • Mutant Wild Animal Pack Spawn Location will correctly dissapear when intended.

  • Higher Chances to get New Skins at a lower price! will no longer be incorrectly applied.

  • Replay:

    • Charlotte: Divine Intervention(R)'s animation effects will be correctly displayed when moving through the timeline while the skill is being casted.

    • Effects will be normally displayed when moving through the timeline while a player is reviving.

  • Cobalt Protocol: Wild Animals' aggro gauge will be correctly consumed.

Character and Weapon Improvements

  • Charlotte: Voice will be correctly played during the Victory Cutscene. 

  • Widriana: Flame effects when resting will be correctly displayed.

  • Estelle: Helitack Stat!(R) will no longer trigger an unknown error when it’s used after a successful escape.

  • Katja: Her drone will be able to operate the Security Console normally.

  • Kenneth: Victory Cutscene will be correctly displayed. 

  • Theodore: Sapphire Protocol(P)'s cooldown reduction target will be correctly displayed in the skill tooltip.

Lobby Improvements

  • You will now be able to check the checkbox on pop ups normally.

  • You’ll now be able to claim rewards normally without any error pop ups.

  • Item Catalog’s Show Remote Drone Items filter will now show items normally.

  • The scroll bar in Claim Rewards pop-ups will be normally displayed.

  • Collectibles > Emote: The scroll bar will be normally displayed when removing emotes from the wheel.

  • Collectibles > Miscellaneous > Spay: Cancel will be properly applied.
