PATCH NOTES 10.0 PART 2: Characters & Items - JANUARY 22ND, 2026

Character/Item System

Healing Reduction Revamp

Due to the nature of the Battle Royale genre where players encounter various enemies, Healing Reduction was a necessity rather than a choice. This caused significant rigidity in builds, forcing players to include Healing Reduction items.

In Season 10, we are softening Healing Reduction overall to increase freedom in equipment selection. First, we have reduced the Healing Reduction effect from 40% to 20%, while overall recovery gimmicks in the game have been adjusted accordingly. For certain characters where recovery played an excessively large role, some of that power has been shifted to utility or other areas. Additionally, Healing Reduction - Strong, which exerted excessive suppression against specific characters, has been removed.

Furthermore, to ease constraints on item builds, we have added the Healing Reduction effect to all VF Blood Sample Armor so that you are not restricted by Healing Reduction when building Mythic items. Finally, we have added Healing Reduction options to both new and existing Augments, allowing you to flexibly secure Healing Reduction effects through Augments as well as items.

Legendary Equipment Material Simplification

We have changed the recipes for all Legendary and Mythic equipment to a "Common Material + Special Material" format.

Garnet

Because Garnet's Twisted Obsession (E) was a targeting skill, it had limitations in terms of mobility and skill application. We have changed this to a non-targeting dash skill, allowing for more flexible and proactive play depending on the situation. We have also readjusted her overall stats to match this mechanical change.

Additionally, Suppressed Pain (W) has been adjusted in accordance with the Healing Reduction revamp.

Mai

Mai was a character who utilized defense scaling for all her skills, becoming stronger as her defense increased. However, since the defense increase effect was removed following the previous change to W - Shawl Veil, we've determined that defense scaling is no longer meaningful. As such, her overall stats are being adjusted to better suit her Tank role.

Additionally, as she was a character who showed strong combat prowess during engagements through E - Catwalk, she will now face a certain risk when using it on a Camera, as it no longer provides a Shield. In exchange, her attack speed will increase upon hitting with E2 - Strut, allowing her to be more powerful than before if she lands the skill.
