Hello Lumia Island Survivors!

The Esports Championships Asia 2026, a battle to determine the best in gaming in Asia, will be held over three days at the Jinju Arena in South Korea, and will be featuring Eternal Return.

The Esports Championships Asia is a competition where representative teams from various countries compete across multiple game titles. Points are accumulated to determine the overall winning country.

Among the various titles featured in the championship, Eternal Return will host 8 teams from 5 countries, including China, Japan, Thailand, Vietnam, and South Korea. These teams will compete over two days on Saturday, April 25th, and Sunday, April 26th.

As the same 8 teams will compete throughout both days, a new tournament format specifically for ECA 2026 will be introduced. The rules for Day 1 and Day 2 will differ. Furthermore, to ensure the competition concludes within a fixed number of rounds, we will be implementing a modified version of the "Sequential Checkpoint" system previously introduced through trial matches.

- After 6 rounds, the rankings will be tallied based on the overall points from the rounds.  - Based on Day 1 rankings, teams will receive starting bonus points for Day 2 as follows: 10, 7, 5, 4, 3, 2, 1, and 0 points for 1st through 8th place, respectively.			- If a team in Checkpoint status wins a round, they are declared the overall winner and the competition concludes. - Rounds 1 through 3 will proceed without any Checkpoints.  - Starting from Round 4, teams will enter Checkpoint status based on their standings in the previous round: the Top 2 teams in Round 4, the Top 4 teams in Round 5, and all 8 teams in Round 6.
Character Selection Format Enhanced 3-Pick Ban If a character is selected by 3 or more players in a single round, it will be banned for subsequent rounds based on the following: - Selected by 3 players: Banned for the next 1 round. - Selected by 4 players: Banned for the next 2 rounds.  - Selected by 5 or more players: Banned for the next 3 rounds.
