PATCH NOTES 1.39.1 - January 23th, 2025

Servers will be temporarily offline for an estimated time of 4 hours on Thursday, January 23rd from 2 AM to 6 AM (UTC) to apply a minor update, Patch 1.39.1.


Matchmaking Improvements


Ranked 

  • Asia 1: We’ve added more segments to queues for higher tiers.

  • Europe: Meteorite+ can no longer match with Platinum or lower.


Union Circuit

  • North America & Europe

    • We’ve widened queues between tiers for smoother matchmaking.

    • We’ve also added an additional day to the Union Schedule.

      • Full Schedules are now as follows:

        • NA: Fri, Sat, Sun 19:00~21:00 (PT) / 22:00~00:00 (ET)

        • EU: Fri, Sat, Sun 20:00~22:00 (CET)



Character

Debi & Marlene

We’re improving Debi & Marlene's durability by increasing their defense, addressing the low average score gain they’ve been recording.

  • Base Defense 50 → 52

 

Laura

Laura has been struggling to sustain prolonged engagements due to her low durability. We’re enhancing her sustain by increasing her HP recovery when her W - Calling Card hits an enemy.

  • Calling Card(W)

    • HP Recovery 30/35/40/45/50(+Skill Amplification 7%) → 30/35/40/45/50(+Skill Amplification 9%)

 

Lenox

Lenox has been showing strong performance with her crowd control and high damage. To balance this, we’re adjusting the damage of her Q - Recoil.

    • Edge Additional Damage 3/5/7/9/11% of Lenox’s Max HP → 2/4/6/8/10%

 

Leon

Tonfa Leon has been underperforming so we’re enhancing his power to make him more competitive.

  • Skill Amp per Tonfa Mastery Level 4.6% → 4.7%

 

Lenore

Lenore has been recording relatively low average damage among ranged skill amp characters. To address this, we’re increasing the damage of her core skill, Q - Staccato.

  • Staccato(Q)

    • Damage 50/70/90/110/130(+Skill Amplification 60%) → 60/80/100/120/140(+Skill Amplification 60%)

 

Mai

After changes to her W - Shawl Veil, Mai’s power was toned down but her durability has taken a hit. We’re increasing her damage reduction rate to help her stand her ground more effectively.

Magnus

Magnus has been recording low average score gain. To improve his overall performance, we’re boosting his defense.

Sua

Sua has been showing an excellent performance with high average score gain and win rates, particularly due to her strong HP recovery. We’re reducing the HP recovery of E - Don Quixote to balance this.

Adriana

Adriana has been struggling during early game. She especially struggles to control range so we’re increasing the damage of Q - Flamethrower to reward players who successfully manage her risk-reward playstyle.

Abigail

Abigail has been underperforming recently. To address this, we’re enhancing her weapon mastery effects to boost her overall power.

  • Skill Amp per Axe Mastery Level 4.2% → 4.4%

 

Emma

Emma's E - Bunnymorph, combined with her R - Change★, has often left opponents without opportunities to react. We’re reducing the slow effect on targets transformed into bunnies to help it make dodging her skills a bit easier.

    • Bunnymorphed Targets Slow 1.6 → 1.3

 

Tsubame

Tsubame has seen her power drop significantly after consecutive adjustments. We’re increasing the Target's Max HP scaling of her P - Life and Death Seal to make her more effective against tankier opponents.

    • Damage 30(+Extra Attack Power 60%)(+Target's Max HP 1/4/7%(+Extra Attack Power 3%)) → 30(+Extra Attack Power 60%)(+Target's Max HP 2/5/8%(+Extra Attack Power 3%))

 

Cathy

Dagger Cathy has consistently recorded high score gain. We’re reducing her Skill Amplification scaling to balance her performance.

  • Dagger Skill Amp per Mastery Level 4.4% → 4.2%

 

Felix

Felix continues to perform well, especially at the highest tiers. Given his exceptional sustain through E - Crescent Wave!, we’re reducing the shield provided by his P - Retail Spearman.

    • Shield per Consumed Stack 10(+Attack Power 55%) → 10(+Attack Power 45%) per Stack

 

Hart

Hart hasn’t been doing well consistently. As a character reliant on basic attacks, her low attack speed has been limiting her performance, so we’re increasing her attack speed scaling.

  • Attack speed per Guitar Mastery Level 2.6% → 2.9%

 

Haze

Haze has been recording really poor stats recently. We’re increasing the damage of her Q - 40mm Grenade to help her out.

Bug Fixes & Improvements

Gameplay Improvements

  • Ranked matches should now display the entry cost deduction value before RP adjustments.

  • Escape points should now display correctly in Ranked match results.

  • Items should now be better distributed.

  • Matches no longer load indefinitely. 

Lobby Improvements

  • Team members will no longer be able to incorrectly leave a team due to a suspension when they didn’t have one.

Character & Weapon Improvements

  • Eleven should now be able to use summon-type items normally.

  • Tazia should now be able to use Stiletto (Q) normally.
