TSeason 11 Highlight 1 - New Area: Barge

We’re adding a new area to the Lumia Island: Barge!

The Barge, a new area located between the Dock and Factory, features a unique terrain structure consisting of four interconnected ships. We hope you experience a new style of combat and survival in this atmosphere, which vividly captures the dark and gritty essence of a rugged maritime workspace.

Adjacent Area Changes

With the addition of the new Barge area to the map, the placement of certain terrain objectives and wild animals in the adjacent Factory and Dock areas has been adjusted to ensure smooth movement paths.

  • Factory

    • Launch Pad Removed

  • Dock

    • Launch Pad Removed

    • 1 Bear Removed

S11 Highlight 2 - New Area Gimmicks

Beyond simply following farming routes, "Special Area Gimmicks" have been added to highlight the unique characteristics of each area and allow for diverse strategies based on where you fight. You can now gain the upper hand in battle by actively utilizing environmental elements throughout Lumia Island.

Barge - Cranes & Barrels

We’re adding new objectives as well with the new Barge area, those include cargo-moving cranes and rolling barrels.

  • Barrel Spawning Rules

    • The crane moves to the nearest spawn point at regular intervals to drop a barrel.

    • If the number of existing barrels on the map exceeds a certain limit, barrel production will temporarily pause.

  • Barrel Mechanics

    • Fall Damage: Characters or wild animals hit by a falling barrel take collision damage. However, this damage will not reduce your HP below 1.

    • Rolling: Once a barrel has landed, a character can strike it with a basic attack to roll it in the opposite direction of the hit.

    • Slow Zone: When a rolling barrel collides with a character/wild animal or travels a certain distance, it creates a Slow Zone at that location.

  • Slow Zone Effect: All targets within the area, regardless of team, are slowed by 30%.

Hospital - Medical Support Network

The Hospital has been reimagined as the optimal region for regrouping and reviving allies.

  • Revival Discount: When using the Kiosk in the Hospital area, the cost for reviving an ally is discounted by 50 Credits.

  • Special Supplies: By looting certain boxes and/or slaying Bears in the Hospital area, you can obtain First Aid Kits, with high healing properties.

Police Station - Evidence Boxes

The Police Station now features "Evidence Boxes" that store the equipment of survivors who have died on Lumia Island.

  • Mechanics: Evidence Boxes become active starting from Day 3.

  • Unlocking & Alert: Interacting with a locked Evidence Box initiates a 45-second unlocking process. During this time, the noise of opening is heard nearby and a noise ping is displayed on the minimap.

  • Obtaining Rewards: Once the box is "Opened”, you can interact with it to select and obtain one piece of equipment belonging to a downed survivor whose gear was brought back to the Police Station.

  • After an item is taken, the box has a cooldown of 60s before it can be unlocked again.

  • Item Rule

    • Excluded Items: Character-exclusive equipment, Special Materials, Reward, and other unique special items are not included.

    • Legendary and Mythic Equipment: At least one Legendary item from a downed test subject is guaranteed to appear. (If the downed test subjects didn’t have any Legendary items, Credit will be included instead.)

    • As the days progress, more Legendary items will appear in the composition. Starting from Day 5, Mythic items will be included at a low probability.

Areas with Nature (Forest, Pond, Temple, Archery Range, Chapel, Cemetery) - Apple Tree

Oh, look! Apple Trees have begun to grow in preserved natural areas across Lumia Island, providing a new source of food.

  • How to collect: Strike an Apple Tree with basic attacks to collect Apples.

  • Gold Apples: You can even obtain Golden Apples, which grant exceptional HP recovery at a 10% chance.

School - Grandfather Clock

A massive Grandfather Clock capable of shifting the flow of battle in an instant has been added to the School.

  • Mechanics

    • Hitting the clock creates a range over 1 second and a "Wave Zone" that lasts for 6 seconds.

  • Wave Effect: Every 2 seconds (3 times total), all targets within the zone receive a 5% cooldown reduction to their remaining skills (including Weapon and Tactical Skills) and recover 2 seconds of their Restricted Area Detonation timer

S11 Highlight 3 - Trap Items Removal & New Consumables: Capsules

Existing Trap items were limited to very late-game combat and forced the use of vision items to counter them. Consequently, all summon-type traps have been removed and replaced by “Capsules”, a new type of consumable item that can be used actively throughout all stages of the game.

Trap Items Removal

  • You can no longer craft or obtain traps on Lumia Island.

(NEW) Temporary Buff Items: Capsules

Unlike permanent buff items such as Zen Vitality or Holy Water, these 3 types of Capsules are consumable items that can shift the flow of battle by enhancing specific stats for a limited time.

  • Capsule - Essence: Max HP 150, Tenacity 15% Increase for 90s

  • Capsule - Sanguine: Attack Power 8, Omnisyphon 4% Increase for 90s

  • Capsule - Galaxy: Adaptability 3, Cooldown Reduction 10 Increase for 90s

How to Get & Use Capsules

  • Purchase: All Capsules can be purchased for 75 Credits via Remote Drone delivery.

  • Duplicates: If you consume the same type of Capsule multiple times, the effects do not stack, but the duration is reset.

  • Different Capsules: If you consume a different type of Capsule, the previous effect will disappear and be replaced by the effect of the most recently consumed Capsule. (Multiple Capsule effects cannot be active at the same time.)

  • All effects are lost when downed.

Crafting Menu & Quickslot UI Changes

  • With the removal of Trap items and the addition of the new Capsules, the item list available for purchase through the Crafting Menu and Quickslot UI has been updated.

In-game UI Display

  • The Tac. Skill Module will now be visible alongside your preset late-game item list in the in-game Target Item UI.

Empty Slot Auto-Allocation

  • When a slot becomes empty after crafting or acquiring a target equipment piece registered in your Late-game Item Recommendations, the Tac. Skill Module will be automatically assigned to that slot to facilitate faster enhancement.

Visibility for Temporary & Final Safe Zone Improvements

The visual warning effects at area entries have been enhanced to prevent situations where players unintentionally wander out of the safe zone and die during intense late-game combat

Warning Indicator Display

  • Starting 10 seconds before a Temporary or Final Safe Zone fully converts into a Restricted Area, a visual warning indicator will be displayed on the entryways connecting to other areas.

  • This allows players to more intuitively recognize and react to the fatal consequences (character explosion) that occur when leaving the designated safe zone.

Collectibles - Victory Animation Playback Feature

Experience the joy of the game results screen in advance! You can now play each character's spectacular victory animation.

  • A new feature to play Victory Animations has been added to the Character and Skin screens within the Collectibles menu.

  • You can even preview the victory animations for characters and skins you do not currently own.

Collectibles - Skill Details Preview

  • You can now check the different skills of characters whose abilities change based on form transformations, such as Silvia and Tia.

  • You can now also check skill descriptions and scaling values per level.

Honor Level Reward System

The Honor System has been revamped and new rewards have been added to provide more benefits to survivors who help create a well-mannered and positive environment on Lumia Island!

Honor Level Rewards & Thumbs Up! Count Increase

  • Level-up rewards will now be granted each time your Honor Level increases (up to Level 9). Upon reaching certain Honor Levels, the number of Golden Thumbs Up! you can give to teammates after a game increases:

    • Level 4: Golden Thumbs Up! Count 2 → 4

    • Level 7: Golden Thumbs Up! Count 4 → 6

Honor Point Acquisition

  • Honor Points are earned by giving or receiving Thumbs Up! or Golden Thumbs Up! after a match.

  • You earn significantly more points when receiving Thumbs Up!/Golden Thumbs Up! from others than when giving them. Increase your Honor Level through active communication and good manners to earn various rewards!

  • Maximum Friends Increase

    • The friend list limit has been increased to 250.

  • Enhanced Whisper Storage

    • The chat history storage for whispers has been significantly enhanced to prevent message loss.

      • Whispers received from friends while you are offline can now be checked upon logging in.

      • Unread whispers will remain even after restarting the game.

      • Whisper history will be securely stored for up to 2 weeks.

Forced Immobilization Effects (Knocked Back & Grabbed) Logic Integration

The mechanics for "Knocked back" and "Grabbed", status that forcibly change a target's position, will now be fully integrated into the "Airborne" system.

  • Unified Status Text

    • When Knocked back or Grabbed is applied, the status text displayed above the character's HP bar will now be unified as "Airborne."

  • Collision Persistence

    • If the duration of a forced movement effect remains, the Airborne status will no longer end immediately upon hitting a wall and it will persist for the full remaining duration.

  • Exceptions for Additional Effects

    • For skills that trigger additional effects upon wall collision such as Magnus’s Heavy Strike (E) Stun, the Knocked back effect will end immediately upon impact to apply the additional effect as before.
