PATCH NOTES 1.15.1 - February 22nd, 2024

Servers will be temporarily offline for an estimated time of 4 hours on February 22nd from 2 AM to 6 AM (UTC) to update Patch 1.15.1. 


ER PASS “CHANGE”

Change season is here!

  • The ER Pass is currently priced at 1,550 NP. But for a special opening celebration, it'll be on sale for 1,190 NP for the next three weeks. Additionally, the ER Plus, which includes an additional 24 levels, will be available at a discounted price of 3,190 NP, down from 3,990 NP for three weeks.

    • Sale Period: February 22nd, 2024 after maintenance - March 14th before maintenance (3 weeks)

    • After purchasing the ER Pass, you can upgrade to ER Plus by paying the difference.

  • Gain ER Points (XP) by playing, purchasing, and clearing missions! Gathering ER points will help you level up your pass to unlock 100 rewards including 1,400 NP, 5 skins, 12 emotes and 100 Change Tokens.

  • You can earn free rewards without purchasing an ER Pass, but buying one can give you additional rewards!

  • ER Pass Missions are split into 8 weeks, and new mission series will unlock every Wednesday at 3:00 AM (UTC).

    • Players who have yet to purchase the pass will have access to the basic 5 missions per week.

    • Purchasing the pass will unlock access to additional 5 missions per week to help progress along the ER Pass.

    • Even if you purchase the ER Pass late, you can still claim missions from previous weeks!

As we previously announced, Season Tokens that you can get at a probability through disassembly of complete items will be switched to Change Tokens on February 22nd after maintenance.


ER Pass: Vacance Ending Notice

As we also previously announced, the ER Pass Vacance will end on February 22nd after maintenance.

  • For those who are eligible for rewards but haven’t claimed them, we will send them to your in-game mailbox on February 22nd during maintenance.

    • Mailbox Claiming Period: Until May 22nd, 2024 14:59 (UTC)

    • Valid thru: Within 90 days after logging in


Vacance Tokens Ending Notice

Products available for purchase with Vacance Tokens will be discontinued on February 22nd after maintenance, as we previously announced.

Only the following two products will be available for exchange until March 28th before the 1.18 maintenance so that you can redeem your remaining Vacance Tokens.

We’re decreasing the number of points needed for lower tiers while increasing the points needed for higher tiers, so the higher you climb, the more points you’ll need to keep moving up.

  • Starting Score by Tier

    • Bronze 1000 → 800 points

    • Silver 2000 → 1600 points

Ranked Scoring System Changes

Kill scores will be broken down by placements, and first place will get more points.

  • 1st place kills 8 → 10 points

  • 2nd place kills 8 → 9 points

  • 4th place kills 6 → 7 points

  • Decimals will be rounded up.

 

Rank Demotion Changes

  • Rank Demotions will now be applied starting at the Diamond tier.

  • Demotion happens when players refrain from participating in Ranked Matches, with a grace period of one day per grace point. Each Ranked Match played gives you three grace points, with a maximum of ten points.

    • However, players in the Diamond tier that have not played for more than 15 days will run out of Grace points.

  • The maximum limit of grace points will be changed to 15 starting from the 1.18 update.


Credits, Mastery XP, Battle Zones

We're slightly reducing the experience points and credits earned from wild animals. Additionally, we're significantly boosting the Mastery experience gained in Battle Zones to balance both objective and wild animal hunting.

We're extending the duration of the buff you get from defeating Dr. Wickeline to better align with the longer Late Game phase. However, we're lowering the damage dealt to provide more opportunities for counterplay.

Downed Skills

We're making AED harder to use successfully by increasing its cooldown and decreasing the cooldown reduction when the channeling fails.

Now, you'll have to use this skill more cautiously because failing to revive yourself means you won't be able to use all your downed skills for 15 seconds. It will also take more than 40 seconds to successfully revive yourself again, practically making it impossible to reuse during combat.

Additionally, we're lowering the durability while downed to allow enemies to defeat you more quickly.

Night Vision

We've shortened the time it takes for vision to decrease and recover during nighttime, and we've also slightly reduced the extent of vision reduction.

Tactical Skills

Currently, the fully upgraded Nullification skill's CC immunity doesn't stand out as particularly strong, yet it occasionally leads to scenarios where counterattacking can be difficult.
We're planning to make some adjustments to this skill in the future but in the meanwhile we're just going to reduce the duration of CC Immunity to open up more opportunities for counterplay.

We initially extended the duration of Guard & Reverse (W) to reduce its damage reduction, but we went too far with it. So, we're reversing some of those changes.

Bug Fixes & Improvements

Gameplay Improvements

  • The starting area indicator will now be correctly displayed during the game preparation phase.

  • MMR will now be correctly implemented when matching with a Premade Team in Ranked Matches.

  • Unknown items will no longer appear in some boxes in Tutorial mode.

  • The Battle Zone Shuttle will now normally explode once the team count decreases from 3 to 2, following the elimination of a team for exiting the Battle Zone.

  • Teammates who died during Night 2 and were waiting for rapid reconstruction will no longer be revived via the Kiosk on Day 3.

  • The game will no longer begin with only two people on a team.

  • The tooltip for the Second Wind: Blood Pact item skill will now correctly display the Tenacity value in all languages.
