Season 8 Union Circuit
Union Circuit is back! It now returns in a more refined form, focusing on more coordinated team compositions, strategic planning, and putting teamwork and tactics into test to show true competitive battles between pre-made teams.
Overview
Up to 4 players can form a single Union, and each player can belong to up to 4 different Unions.
Participation is available from account level 30 and above. However, in order to create a Union you need a ranked tier of Gold or higher.
Schedule: Thurs, Aug 7th to Weds, Sep 4th
Union Circuit is available at specific times depending on the server. Players can also participate in Unions in other servers.
North America: Friday and Saturday, 19:00 – 21:00 (PT) / 22:00 – 00:00 (ET)
Europe: Friday and Saturday, 20:00 – 22:00 (CEST)
Asia 1: Daily from 22:00 – 00:00 (KST)
Asia 2: Saturday and Sunday, 20:00 – 22:00 (KST)
Union Circuit Tiers & Promotion System
Union Circuit has S, A, B, C, D, F tiers and each is subdivided in 3 tiers. (i.e. SSS, SS, S)
Unions within the same letter tier will share the same matchmaking pool. (i.e. F, FF, FFF) However, matchmaking for global servers could vary and be expanded.
Tickets are used as entry cost to a match. The following tickets are granted according to match results: 2 Tiers Up, Tier Up, Maintain and Demotion. Your ranking is calculated with the sum of kill points and placement.
Cumulative wins are recorded when winning matches in the SSS tier. You can check your total wins in the Union Circuit team lobby.
The cumulative win rankings for the SSS tier can also be viewed on [Dak.gg].
Participation Reward
Conditions: Having participated in 2+ matches of Season 8’s Union Circuit (Beta)
Players who get 2 tier promotions during the Union Circuit period will receive a special emote reward after the season ends. (For example, a promotion from F to FF counts as one, while a promotion from F to FFF counts as two.)

Wild Animal Corpse Looting Improvements
We've improved the looting experience when killing multiple wild animals or boss monsters whose corpses overlap, that were previously difficult to click.
We’re increasing the maximum number of corpses shown at once from 5 to 8 when wild animal corpses are overlapping.
Corpses of boss monsters such as Alpha, Omega, and Wickeline will now also appear if they are within 2.5m.
- Items that can stack, such as Leather and Meat, will now be stacked into a single slot up to their maximum stack limit.
Important Items Visual and Sound Effect Improvements
We are improving the highlight effect to make important items easier to spot and adding a new sound effect to help with recognition.
- Expanded Effect: The highlight effect (light), which previously appeared only on important items in wild animal corpses, will now also apply to important items dropped directly on the ground.
New Highlight Sound Effect: A new sound will now play when the highlight effect appears on corpses or dropped items. The sound varies depending on item rarity, Rare and Epic or higher items will each have distinct effects.

If the highlight effect is not visible within the player’s field of view, the sound will not play.

Warp Host will now no longer be selected at random.

Laura: Tactics Instructor Skin Dancing will no longer unintendedly display a chair.

Rapier weapon’s critical strike animation will now be correctly displayed.
Dancing will now be correctly displayed when equipped with Rapier while using the Johmilo skin.
Katja: Ashen Reaper (P) will no longer display Bonus effects on surviving characters.
Chiara: Last Judgement (R2) will now correctly only highlight targets eligible for execution.
Felix: Victory cutscene’s English voice will now play correctly.
Lobby Improvements
The Replay button will now appear properly in Match History after viewing another user's profile.
Daily Mission will now display missions as intended.
Items will now be purchasable when purchase attempts remain.
Purchasing ER Pass Levels with NP will now be more convenient, using level units instead of point units.
Products purchasable with Mileage will now display the Purchase button in the Quest Book.
Previously purchased products in the Store can now be reviewed via the Detailed Information popup.
Certain ER Pass and Quest Book products will now also appear in the Popular and Bundle tabs of the Store Home.
Descriptions written in other languages in Saved Plan Details will now be automatically translated.

Emote sound effects will no longer play during the Cobalt Protocol match preparation phase, when watching the Emote preview in Collectibles > Emote.
In Profile > Summary, the Top 3 most-played characters will now display with the correct Top 3 label, not Top 1.
In Profile > Match History > Ranking, the See info section will now stay within screen bounds.
Tactical Skill upgrade values will now display properly in Match History > Stats.
Empty space at the bottom of Store > Home no longer appears.
The Loop Card Key – Red tooltip will now correctly display its category.
In Custom Matches, when Tournament Score is enabled, kill score and total score for the opposing team will now update properly on the result screen.
Today's Missions will no longer include objectives related to some Special Materials (e.g., Moonstone, Glacial Ice).

Due to changes in our content production pipeline, we will no longer produce preview videos for Rare skins moving forward. Rare skin preview videos will only be created up to [Summer Break Darko].
From now on, preview videos will only be produced for new characters and Epic skins.
