Hello Lumia Island Survivors, 

Recently, there have been more and more cases of verbal abuse, hate or discriminatory speech, and abnormal gameplay behavior.
We know this has been causing continuous discomfort and hindering with your gaming experience.

In order to ensure a fair gameplay environment, we have conducted a comprehensive review of our Terms of Services and will be strengthening the sanctions for breaking Eternal Return's Rules of Conduct. 

■ Main Changes
[Verbal Abuse and Hate/Discriminatory Speech]

- From now on, temporary chat bans will no longer be issued as first penalties. Instead, account restrictions will be applied from the first offense, and the overall severity of sanctions will be strengthened.

[False/Malicious Reports]
- Accumulating false or malicious reports may result in penalties such as account restrictions.

Recently, an investigation of approximately 1,000 verbal abuse reports showed that fewer than 100 cases led to actual sanctions.
False or malicious reports waste moderation resources and undermine our ability to take fair action on legitimate reports.
To prevent such abuse, sanctions will now also apply to false or malicious reporting.

[Additional Changes Following the Policy Reinforcement] 

*Previously, accounts with a total ban record of 14 days or longer within the season were ineligible for ranked rewards.
Now with the stricter policy, only players with a total ban record of 30 days will be excluded from season ranked rewards.
However, players who have already received a sanction for 14 days or longer before the policy revision will still be excluded from this season’s reward distribution.

*Sanction records will be reset at the start of each new season. (Permanent bans excluded.)

[Additional Notes on the Rules of Conduct]

*The duration and type of account suspension may vary depending on the severity of the rule violation.
*If a player’s behavior causes harm or inconvenience to others, it may be deemed disruptive to gameplay and result in service restrictions.
*If repeated or continuous reports of the same issue are received, a temporary suspension may be applied until the investigation is complete.
