System

Achievements

We're introducing a new system to track your progress in various aspects of gameplay.

These achievements are divided into the following categories: Survival, Weapons, Area, Hunting & Collecting, and Special. However, Special achievements will not be revealed until you complete the first level.

Each category will offer a range of achievements to strive for!

Completing these achievements will not only give you juicy rewards but also unveil some of Eternal Return’s Lore, including a few aspects of how the project was carried out and even some testimonies from the Test Subjects, along with other interesting details and stories about Aglaia.

Color Customization

Finally! It’s here! You will now be able to personalize the colors of HP bars for yourself, allies, and enemies, as well as the colors of restricted areas and ally outlines on the map. If you're having trouble finding the right color, you can also input a specific color code.

However, once you’ve started a Normal or Ranked Match, you can't change the settings until you’re back to the lobby.

Changes to Installed Item Colors

Previous

  • In-game/Replay/Spectator: The HP bar color of the installed items is displayed according to the color of the team that placed it.

Change

  • In-game: The HP bar color of installed items will be red regardless of the team.

  • Replay/Spectator: The HP bar color of installed items will continue to be displayed according to the color of the team that placed them.

(Note: Some of this content was already applied ahead of time during the previous update due to an error in the compilation process.)

  • Rewards are given based on cumulative login days.

  • Additionally, Shirt (Fabric Armor) and Running Shoes will be included as starting items to align with updates to the item recipes.

    • These items are equipped from the start.

Enemy Kill Effect

When you fully defeat an enemy, an Enemy Kill Effect is triggered, providing benefits to your team.

  • Upon completely slaying an enemy (from downed to dead), all teammates receive healing and cooldown reduction.

  • If team A downs team B, and team C completely eliminates team B afterward, team A will be the only team receiving the Enemy Kill Effect.

  • The Enemy Kill Effect is not applied if a member of the targeted team is downed.

  • HP/SP Recovery: 20% of max HP/SP

  • Cooldown Reduction: 20% reduction in remaining cooldowns for all skills, weapon skills, and tactical skills.

Noise Pings

The amount of information you can get from a noise ping will be reduced.

  • Noise Pings from Collecting (REMOVED)

  • Crafting Noise Ping Distance 80 → 30m

  • Downed State Shield Adjustments

    • The max amount of Shield you can receive when downed is 10.

    • However, the effects accompanying skills that grant shields such as Crowd Control Immunity are applied as usual.

Fission Blast (Q)

  • When downed test subjects forcibly remove the bracelet, it explodes 5 seconds later, dealing 50 true damage to the target hit by the explosion and 20% damage of the target's current HP. After that downed test subjects will die.

  • Cooldown: 30s

Obstinacy (W)

  • Downed test subjects draw on their remaining strength, increasing their movement speed by 100%.
    Obstinacy lasts for 5 seconds.

  • Cooldown: 7s

AED (R)

  • Downed test subjects can automatically revive after channeling for 15 seconds. No other actions are possible when channeling, and will recover 25% HP and SP upon revival. If channeling is canceled midway through, 90% of cooldown is returned.

  • Cooldown: 60s

Satellite Radar

Satellite Radar will no longer be activated after Day 3 to reduce the risk of interception during combat.

  • Satellite Radar will now be disabled starting from Day 3.

Time Changes

    • Day 2: 160s → 140s

Kiosk

Due to changes in the VF Blood Sample tier items, pricing and availability for ordering VF Blood Sample have been adjusted.

As the game flow shifts, the time for allies to revive decreases, thus lowering the difficulty of reviving teammates.

  • VF Blood Sample

    • Available to Order: Day 2 → Night 3

    • Credits 450 → 500

  • Change: 30% additional gain when mastery is 2 levels different, 100% additional gain when mastery is 3 levels different

  • Additional Mastery experience is progressively scaled (Example: When leveling up by gaining XP when there is a difference of 2 levels in Mastery, you only gain additional XP for the time before you level up.)

XP Adjustments

The XP you need to level up your test subject will go up. And since there are more wild animals around, you'll earn less XP from hunting mastery. Plus, the XP for leveling up weapon mastery will increase too.

Nicky

Guard & Reverse (W) has a short damage reduction duration, which often negates its effectiveness even when used successfully. To improve this, we're extending the duration of the damage reduction to the end of the dash, giving Nicky more reliable durability.

  • Human Torpedo (P)

    • Damage Type: True Damage → Skill Damage

    • Pool Shark Damage 10/20/30(+Skill Amplification 15%) → 20/40/60(+Skill Amplification 30%)

Rozzi

Rio

We’re reducing Rio's base attack frame while using Daikyu, allowing for better distance control and enhancing Hanare (W). We’re strengthening each augment in Spirit Arrow (R), reseting the cooldown of Soar (E) when used, and maximizing Hassetsu stacks to support Rio's active play.

  • Slightly increased the Daikyu Basic Attack Attack Frame.

  • Hanare (W)

Barbara

We’re improving interaction with the BT Sentry Gun Mk.II (Q) by removing the effect of two simultaneous hits from the Free-Electron Laser (W) and instead adding the ability to mark on hit. With the removal of the simultaneous hit effect, we are increasing the damage of the Free-Electron Laser and reducing the cooldown of Overclock (R).

  • BT Sentry Gun Mk.II (Q)

  • Phony Deal (P)

    • Number of activated stacks to enhance basic attack 6 → 5

    • The duration will refresh instead of continuing to stack up at Max Stacks.

Sissela

It’s difficult for the targeted enemy to locate Sissela while using Free at Last (R), so we’re removing the range that targets the entire area, and instead slightly increasing the basic range so that it does not reduce usability during combat.

  • Free at Last (R)

    • Area-wide Range (REMOVED)

    • Range 16m → 20m

Arda

We’re separating cooldowns for enhanced and basic skills to help you actively use Unleashed Power (R).

We’re strengthening the interaction between Double Shot (Q) and Steady Shot (W). Skill Amplification Aya has a steep power curve in the mid to late game when she invests skill points into her Moving Turn (E) We're adding the ability to reduce the cooldown of Double Shot (Q) and Steady Shot (W) when using Moving Turn (E) so that they don't weaken so dramatically in the mid-to-late game. • (NEW) Reduces the cooldown of Double Shot (Q) and Steady Shot (W) by 10/15/20/25/30% of the total when used.

Isol

We’re removing Guerilla Warfare (P)'s defense and changing it to increase its Adaptability effect instead. The effect is also activated when Semtex Bomb (Q) is hit, allowing for a more active play. We’re also reducing Rebel Assault (W)'s defense, allowing you to see a big effect when hitting enemies in a wide area.

  • Defense per Level 2.4 → 2.6

  • Harmony of Parvati (E)

    • (NEW) Movement Speed Increase by 12% while in use

Fiora

Fiora relies heavily on the Touché mark explosion from her Fente (Q) and the 3 hits from her Flèche (R) to be powerful, which limits her combos and makes her really difficult to play.

To improve this, we're moving the Touché mark explosion effects from each skill to her Passive, unifying their effects, and allowing Attaque Composée (W) to also explode marks to increase the freedom she has with her combo and decrease the difficulty of explosions.

We're also unifying the maximum number of stacks of Touché marks per Passive level to reduce dependence on it.
