PATCH NOTES 1.22.1 - May 30th, 2024

Servers will be temporarily offline for an estimated time of 4 hours on May 30th from 2 AM to 6 AM (UTC) to update Patch 1.22.1.


ER Pass “Sunset”

The Summer season is here!

  • The ER Pass is currently priced at 1,250 NP. But for a special opening celebration, it'll be on sale for 890 NP for the next three weeks. Additionally, the ER Plus, which includes an additional 19 levels, will be available at a discounted price of 2,520 NP, down from 3,150 NP for three weeks.

    • Sale Period: May 30th after maintenance - June 20th before maintenance (3 weeks)

    • After purchasing the ER Pass, you can upgrade to ER Plus by paying the difference.

  • Gain ER Points (XP) by playing, purchasing, and clearing missions! Gathering ER points will help you level up your pass to unlock different rewards including 900 NP, skins, emotes and 100 Sunset Tokens.

  • You can earn free rewards without purchasing an ER Pass, but buying one can give you additional rewards!

  • ER Pass Missions are split into 8 weeks, and new mission series will unlock every Wednesday at 3:00 AM (UTC).

    • Players who have yet to purchase the pass will have access to the basic 5 missions per week.

    • Purchasing the pass will unlock access to additional 5 missions per week to help progress along the ER Pass.

    • Even if you purchase the ER Pass late, you can still claim missions from previous weeks!

  • The new ER PASS Change will be activated automatically at the start of the season and will be valid for two seasons.

The ER Pass Battle Maids will end on Thursday, May 30th after the 1.22.1 maintenance.

  • For those who are eligible for rewards but haven’t received them, we will send them to your in-game mailbox on May 30th during the 1.22.1 maintenance.

    • Mailbox Claiming Period: Until August 30th 14:59 (UTC)

    • Valid thru: Within 90 days after logging in


Battle Maids Tokens Ending Notice

Products available for purchase with Battle Maids Tokens will be discontinued on May 30th after the 1.22.1 maintenance.

Only the following two products will be available for exchange until before the 1.23 maintenance on June 5th so that you can redeem your remaining Battle Maids Tokens.

We’re making it harder for tiers Diamond and above to accumulate grace points.

Weather Variables Improvements

The weather variables that we added to Lumia Island were aimed at introducing new dynamics and enhancing its atmosphere with each type of weather. However, we've received quite a lot of feedback regarding some types of weather and your negative experiences with them. The main feedback was to improve the main weather type, Sandstorm, and the secondary weather types, Lightning and Foggy.

We already removed the visibility reduction effect of Sandstorms through a previous hotfix, and the overly yellowish coloring of the effect will be improved with this patch. Lightning's damage will now be based on your current health to reduce deaths by lightning strikes. We’ll also add a few minor animation effects when you’re hit by lightning through future updates.

In the case of Foggy, we've realized that while it can create a significantly different gameplay structure from the usual Lumia Island experience, the environment overly restricts information for hunting, which is difficult to apply in the current ranked state, where kill scores are important. Foggy will be temporarily removed, and later reintroduced only in normal matches through a mode separation feature.

  • Main Weather Sandstorm: We’re improving the effects on the screen during Sandstorms.


  • Sub-Weather Lightning: Lighting Strike Damage 15% Max HP→ 15% of Current HP 

  • Sub-Weather Probability Changes

    • Foggy will no longer be designated as a Sub-weather for Normal and Ranked Matches.

    • We’re highly increasing the probability of Windless.


Eco Objectives - Plants

We’re making Healing Spray more useful than ever!

  • You will get an additional 20 Credits for killing enemies that carry Moonstone, True Samadhi Fire, Glacial Ice.

Tia often found herself easily caught even when hitting enemies with red, due to thew short distance in between. We are thus increasing the slow effect of red to allow for creating more distance when it hits.

Luke

Luke seems to have a strong performance in the lower-mid tiers but appears somewhat lacking in the higher tiers. We’re planning some skill improvements for him, but as this requires considerable time, for now, we will enhance his basic attacks to improve his combat sustainability.

Magnus

Magnus is quite a solid frontliner for his team when he uses R - Bike From Hell. Since he now gains stacks of P - Tough Body when he uses his R, we’re slightly reducing his damage.

Celine

Celine seems weak during early game, so we’re increasing her Q’s damage to compensate for this.

We’re helping out Dagger Xiukai, who’s been showing a weak performance.

While Shoichi’s statis are not good, his performance in top tiers is excessively high, making it difficult for others to counter attack. For now, we will reduce the damage of W - Bottom Line, and later, through future skill improvements we will create more opportunities for response.

Jan

The combo starting with Q2 - Leaping Knee, followed by R - The Tetragon and W - Tomahawk Roundhouse, was one that opponents could not counter to for a considerable amount of time.

Instead of making combos harder in Season 4, we intended to enhance the power of sustained engagements using cooldown reduction. However, this made connecting skills too difficult for Jan, so we are partially restoring his airborne duration when using Q2 - Leaping Knee.
