Season 9 Spotlight 1 - B0R1 (Bori)

A new objective wild animal, B0R1 (Bori), is coming to Lumia Island!

Bori drags a broken Air Supply Box around the island, dropping Credits along the way. Attack and claim the box to earn special rewards.

B0R1 (Bori) Overview

Spawn and Movement

  • 3 to 5 Bori spawn randomly within safe zones between Night 2 and Night 4.

Bori leaves tracks along its path, wanders through safe zones, occasionally dropping Credits, and sometimes stops to rest.

Behavior and Interaction

  • When attacked for the first time, Bori will immediately flee, carrying the box at full speed.

    • After sprinting for a while, it will tire out and stop, allowing players to attack again, at which point it will hide inside the box.

    • Reduce the box’s HP to zero to obtain the rewards within.

  • If left alone for too long, Bori will burrow underground with the box and disappear.

A noise ping will be triggered nearby whenever Bori flees or when the box is destroyed.

Sustain & Rewards per Level

  • Bori’s Level, HP and Rewards vary depending on when they spawn.

    • Level 5: 6,000 HP, Aglaia's Gift - Rare

    • Level 7: 7,000 HP, Aglaia's Gift - Rare

  • When used, the Wind Zone Kit summons a wind zone in a targeted location up to 12m away for 6 seconds.

  • All characters inside the wind zone gain 12% movement speed when moving in the same direction as the wind, making it useful for chasing enemies or escaping danger.

  • Gadget Energy Cost: 20

  • Cooldown: 30s

Installation Gadget Range Adjustments

We’re reducing the minimum installation distance between certain Gadgets, allowing them to be placed more efficiently together.

  • Applied tot: Hunter's Pot, Mobile Kiosk, Mobile VLS

  • Main Changes

    • Gameplay

      • Skills for all characters will no longer use SP.

      • Beverage items have been removed, and all SP recovery effects, such as those from Search Mastery, have been deleted or replaced with new effects.

    • UI

      • The SP bar below the HP bar has been removed.

        • Character-specific resources like Silvia’s Fuel and Eva’s VF will continue to be displayed as before.

      • All UI references to Stamina or Beverages, including Item Crafting Filters, Order Pings, and Character Info etc. have been removed

    • Others

      • All missions related to crafting or using Beverages have been removed from Daily Missions and ER Pass Missions.

Food Auto-consumption Option

A new Auto Food Consumption system has been added under [Settings → Game].
When your HP drops below a set threshold, your character will automatically consume a Food item.
The same effect previously provided by the Secondary Augment “Dine n’ Dash” has been removed, allowing for more flexible Augment selection.

  • Detailed Settings

    • You can enable or disable automatic Food consumption individually for two situations:

      • During Combat with Monsters

      • During Combat with Enemy Characters

    • Players can set the HP threshold (%) that triggers automatic consumption and choose whether items are used in Ascending or Descending order of recovery amount.

  • Default Settings

    • During Combat with Wild Animals: Enabled/Ascending (Lower regen food items are consumed first)

    • During Combat with Enemy Characters: Enabled/Descending (Higher regen food items are consumed first)

  • Other Rules

    • Items that aren't cooked such as Meat, Frozen Pizza, etc. aren't consumed.

    • Shields are excluded from the calculation of HP % when auto-consumed.

Restricted Area Acceleration & Air Supplies Adjustments

  • At the start of each phase, if the number of remaining teams is below a certain threshold, additional Restricted Areas will be designated. In some phases, fewer Air Supply Boxes will also appear.

Phase Conditions

  • Night 2: If 5 or fewer teams remain → +1 Restricted Area, −1 Epic Air Supply Box

  • Day 3: If 4 or fewer teams remain → +1 Restricted Area, −1 Epic Air Supply Box

  • Night 3 : If 4 or fewer teams remain → +1 Restricted Area, −1 Epic Air Supply Box

  • Day 4: If 3 or fewer teams remain → +1 Restricted Area

  • Night 4: If 3 or fewer teams remain → +1 Restricted Area

    • Exception

      • If adding more Restricted Areas would reduce the number of remaining Safe Zones below the minimum required for the Endgame Phase, Restricted Area Acceleration will not occur.

Third-Party Announcer

A new warning alert for the announcer has been added to help players quickly recognize when a third party intervenes during combat.

Starting from Day 2, if your team is engaged in combat with another team and either takes or deals damage to a different team’s test subject, a third-party engagement alert will play, notifying all affected players.

Rift – Dimensional Rift Improvements

To enhance combat encounters inside the Combat Lab, several changes have been made:

  • The Shield Pack that previously appeared inside the Combat Lab has been removed.

  • To prevent early occupation using mobility skills and to encourage fights around the cube, the central cube will now spawn 10 seconds after the Combat Lab opens.

  • Instead of always spawning as an Essence Cube, the central cube will now randomly appear as one of the following: Sanguine, Zephyr, or Essence Cube.

Terminate / Clutch / Break Effect Improvements

To strengthen the rewards for wiping out an enemy team without third-party interference and to improve effect consistency, the following rule and stat changes have been applied:

Rule Adjustments & Expanded Application

  • The ally revival boost (reduced revive time) now applies to downed teammates as well.

  • When a recently revived teammate revives another ally, the reduced revive time bonus will also apply.

  • Ally Revival Boost Duration: 5s → 7s

  • Revive Time (while boosted): 1s → 0.5s

  • Calling Cost

    • Remote Drone 15 Credits → 10 Credits

    • Water 15 Credits → 10 Credits

    • Fried Chicken 25 → 20 Credits

Credits Adjustments

To reduce the gap in Credits between teams that split up and teams that stay together, the amount of Earned Credits for teams moving together has been slightly increased. Split pushing will still remain a valid strategy.

  • Credit Reduction Rate: 50% → 60%

  • Any remaining decimal points will now be rounded up.

Wild Animal Special Material Drop Rate Adjustments

To reduce early-game variance caused by luck when defeating Wild Animals, the Special Material drop rates for certain wild animals have been decreased. This change aims to make early item progression more consistent and skill-based.

Adjusted Drop Rates

  • Day 2 (Day) Wolves

    • Chance to drop Tree of Life or Meteorite reduced by approximately 14%.

  • Night 2 Bears

    • Chance to drop Tree of Life, Meteorite, or Mythril reduced by approximately 13%.

Normal and Ranked Matches Separation

The revival rules for Normal and Ranked matches are now separated:

  • Normal Match:
Elimination prevention is extended until Day 2.

  • Ranked Match:
Elimination prevention remains the same, lasting only until Night 1.

This adjustment aims to make Normal matches a more relaxed and forgiving environment for casual or experimental play, while ensuring Ranked matches retain their existing sense of challenge and high-stakes pacing.

Separate Damage Improvements

To remove ambiguity around the term “Separate Damage” used in Skills, Augments, and Item Skills, the damage classification and trigger logic have been clarified.

  • Effects that previously triggered on Separate Damage will now clearly specify whether they activate upon Basic Attack hits or Separate Skill hits

  • Rule Changes

    • Damage over Time (DoT) effects are no longer considered “separate skills,” meaning related effects will no longer trigger from them.

    • Certain Augments and Item Skills that relied on this mechanic have had their functionality updated.

  • Augments

    • Vampiric Bloodline

      • For separate skills dealing consecutive damage, this is applied every 4 seconds.
