Last week, during our 9.6 Update, we introduced a new phone verification requirement for Ranked Matches as a measure to provide a fair Ranked Match environment. (Learn more: PATCH NOTES 9.6 - DECEMBER 23RD, 2025)

We've received a lot of your inquiries regarding this change so today we would like to summarize your more frequently asked questions and provide additional information to clarify them.

1. Changing Ranked Matches Verification Cell Phone Number
The system is designed to allow only one phone number per account.
This is to prevent multiple account usage and maintain fairness.
Consequently, verified accounts can only change their number 3 months after the verification date.
Please understand that arbitrary cancellation or immediate changes via our Customer Support Center are not available.

2. Accounts Subject to Verification
At the moment, only some accounts may be required to verify their phone number upon entering Ranked Matches based on internal standards.
In the long term, we plan to require verification for all players using Ranked Matches.
To maintain a fair environment, please note that already verified accounts may be requested to verify again from time to time.

3. Issues Receiving SMS Verification Codes
Currently, SMS verification uses a common global verification solution, and codes are sent via an [International Sender] number.
Depending on your carrier or device settings, SMS messages may be classified as spam, or blocked due to international service blocking settings.
Therefore, please check your carrier and device settings.

If you still do not receive the verification SMS after reviewing the information above, please contact our Customer Support Center and include the name of your cell phone carrier.
