Winter on Lumia Island
We’re adding a snowman in the Briefing Room and some snow in some areas around the island.
We’re removing the Christmas Tree and other Christmas decorations in the Briefing Room and Chapel.
[GUILTY GEAR -STRIVE-] Lobby Screen Animation
As previously announced, we have now officially applied animation effects to the GGST Lobby Screen, the Level 1 reward from the Quest Book.
You can now enjoy a lively, animated lobby instead of a static image. If you claimed this item before the maintenance, the updated animated version will be applied automatically with no additional steps required.
Minimap Color Customization Adjustments
We’ve added new minimap color customizations to make it easier to distinguish Wild Animals (alive vs. corpses, etc) and installations (surveillance cameras, etc) at a single glance.
You can now personalize minimap colors to clearly differentiate them by:
Going to [Settings] - [Color Customization] and adjusting each color to identify [Alive Wild Animals], [Downed Wild Animals], [Ally Installations], [Enemy Installations] in the minimap.
Colorblind-friendly presets (Red/Green/Blue-Yellow) are provided by default, and you can also manually select custom colors.
Rift(Combat Lab) - Enemy Team Presence Alert
We’re adding alerts to warn players that an enemy team is present in/has entered the Rift.
Enemy team already present: If an enemy team is already inside when you enter the Rift, a warning is displayed immediately.
Enemy team enters later: If your team is already inside and an enemy team enters afterward, an alert will notify you.
These alerts are shown only to survivors inside the Rift and will appear once when the first enemy is detected.

Change Mission Mode Feature
We’re adding a new [Change Mode] function so you can adjust the mission’s mode to the mode you play the most
Use the button in the top-right of the mission list to switch between Lumia Island and Cobalt Protocol missions.
Note: Switching modes resets progress on any missions currently in progress.
Shared missions that can be completed regardless of mode (such as Log In to Eternal Return) are not affected.
Mission Progress Reset
Due to changes to the mission system structure, all active or unclaimed missions will be reset and refreshed during maintenance on January 8th, 2026.
“Claim All” Button in Quest Book
We’re adding a new [Claim All] function so you can claim all your rewards in the Quest Book at once.

Asia 1
The top-tier queue will have stricter matchmaking, with the highest tier restricted to players with 8800 Mythril or higher.
Ranked Match Cell Phone Verification - Asia 1 Server
Ranked Matches on the Asia 1 server now require cell phone verification to play.
After completing at least one Ranked Match, all players will be prompted to verify their cell phone number.
Re-verification may be requested at random times for security purposes.
This applies only to the Asia 1 server, and application to other servers will be decided at a later date.
