Season 10 Tutorial and Archive
Tutorial Revamp
We’ve revamped the tutorial to help out prospective survivors visiting Lumia Island for the first time.
The new tutorial integrates the three previous tutorials into one, allowing players to understand the flow of the game from the start of the match until VICTORY.
Various guides have been added for features not previously covered, such as Regrouping, Reviving Downed Allies, Temporary Safe Zones, and the Chronosphere.
Voicelines for the new Researcher Dr. Hana and all test subjects participating in the tutorial will also added.
The new tutorial will begin immediately upon creating a new account, and current survivors can also try it out at any time through Game Start > Tutorial.
Rewards: New rewards will be granted upon completing the revamped tutorial.
* After the update, the previous tutorials will no longer be available to play.
New Guide Missions
Guide Missions will be added to help you learn the game's core features step-by-step and get settled in.
You can access them via a dedicated button at the top of the lobby. As your total matches (Normal/Ranked) accumulate, advanced mission tabs such as using Hyperloops, Security Consoles, and Kiosks will be unlocked sequentially.
Each stage features missions that allow you to naturally learn core game elements, such as using Hyperloops, capturing Security Consoles, and using Kiosks.
Some mission items provide shortcuts that take you directly to the content menu required to clear that mission.
However, for in-game content, it will take you to the Detailed Guide menu for the relevant content.
Upon completing all missions, you can earn generous rewards, including an Uncommon/Rare Skin Voucher and 4 exclusive Guide Mission All-Clear profile items.

Text Display Speed: Text is displayed approximately 1.6x faster than before, allowing for a more fast-paced reading experience.
Improved Fast-Forward Controls: Controls for holding down the mouse to fast-forward dialogue have been improved, allowing you to use the feature more comfortably with less movement.
Season 10 Highlight 1 - Weather Effect: Purple Fog
New Sub Weather - Purple Fog
An unidentified Purple Fog descends upon Lumia Island. This mysterious and dangerous fog disrupts the entire island's ecosystem and transforms Wild Animals into ferocious creatures. While the fog can be a deadly threat to Survivors, it also presents an attractive opportunity to gain great power.
Basic Weather Effects
When the weather type Purple Fog is applied, the probability of all Wild Animals appearing as Mutants is greatly increased.
Now, even initially spawned Wild Animals have a chance to appear as Mutants, introducing a new variable from the early farming phase.
Due to the influence of the Purple Fog, the damage dealt by all characters to Wild Animals is increased by 10%, allowing for faster hunting.
Weather Effect - Fog Zone & Fog Nest
A total of 3 times during a game, Fog Zones and their centers, Fog Nests, will spawn in random locations on the map. Fog Zones are announced 30 seconds before they appear.

Zone Spawn Rules
When a Fog Zone is created, existing Wild Animals inside die immediately, and normal Wild Animals will not respawn while the zone is active.
Fog Nests
Teams that enter a Fog Zone can see the locations of all Fog Nests within that area through the Expanded Map (M) and Minimap.
Fog Nest locations cannot be seen from outside of a Fog Zone.

Corrupted Mutant Summoning
When a character comes into contact with a Fog Nest, the nest disperses, knocking back the character and summoning Corrupted Mutants in place.
Corrupted Mutants possess significantly more powerful stats than existing Mutants; they immediately recognize nearby characters upon spawning and launch a preemptive attack.

Fog Clearing
The fog clears once all Fog Nests within the zone are destroyed or after n seconds have elapsed, and normal wild animals respawn after a moment.
Season 10 Highlight 2 - New Gadgets
The Gadget rotation has changed, providing new strategic options. 'Safety ORB' has been removed from the Gadget list, and two new Gadgets have been added to create strategic variables.
New Gadget - Portable Safe Zone
Portable Safe Zone is a Gadget that allows you to briefly escape the threat of the Detonation Timer in Restricted Areas.
It creates a Temporary Safe Zone with a 3.5m radius at the designated location for up to 7s.
The Detonation Timer will not be consumed for both ally and enemy characters inside the created Safe Zone.
Gadget Energy Cost: 40
Cooldown: 30s
Noise Ping Exposure Distance upon Destruction: 80m
New Gadget: CNOT Gate
This is an installation teleportation gate that instantly connects two faraway points regardless of the distance.
When a CNOT Gate is installed, it is placed in an inactive state.
It can be destroyed by enemies while inactive.
Up to 2 can be installed per team; installing a 3rd will destroy the first one installed.
Cannot be used in the Briefing Room or Combat Lab.
Gadget Energy Cost: 30
Cooldown: 10s
Inactive Gate HP: 3
Inactive Gate Duration: 90s
Noise Ping Exposure Range upon Destruction: 80m
When 2 CNOT Gates are installed, right-clicking one gate will connect and activate both of them.
Right-clicking an activated gate will teleport you to the other gate after 3 seconds of channeling.
A CNOT Gate can only be used once per person, and you cannot return to the other side after using it.
Please note that activated gates can be used by both allies and enemies.
Activated gates are automatically destroyed after 10s, and additional gates cannot be installed until then.
Active Gate Connection Range: No Limit
Active Gate Duration: 10s

Season 10 Highlight 3 - Wild Animals & Play Environment Changes
Wild Animal Spawn Rule Changes - Day-Wolf, Night-Bear
To make the game flow clearer and increase predictability in combat and strategy, wolves and bears, the primary prey, will now respawn according to Lumia Island's day and night cycle.
Wolves: Respawn at the start of every Day.
Bears: Respawn at the start of every Night.
However, in areas where Restricted Areas are lifted and activated, wild animals will respawn immediately regardless of the day or night.
Mutant Herds (Wolf/Bear Herds) will appear according to separate timers, same as before.
Wild Animal Special Material Drop System Improvements
A Pseudo-Random Distribution system will be introduced to ensure that the experience of obtaining Special Materials while hunting wild animals is not overly dependent on luck.
The probability of wild animals dropping Special Materials in the early game will be slightly reduced.
If you kill a wild animal that drops Special Materials (Bears, Wolves, etc.) but do not obtain one, the Special Material drop probability for the next kill will gradually increase.
The Special Material drop probability is shared by the team; if any team member obtains a Special Material from a wild animal, the accumulated adjusted probability resets to its initial value.
As a result, the expected value for obtaining Special Materials will remain similar to before.

Wild Animal Spawn Point Adjustments
Following the changes to wild animal respawn rules, spawn points and animal count in some areas will be adjusted to prevent them from being too close to objectives or making hunting paths overly simplistic.

Ex: French Fries(3)
Weapon and Tactical Skill Slot Swap (D, F Key Change)
We’re adding a swap feature that allows you to switch the positions of your Weapon Skill (D) and Tactical Skill (F) during the game preparation phase.
You can now place Tactical Skills like Blink on the 'D' key depending on your playstyle or preference, or freely customize key layouts to suit your offensive or defensive tendencies.
Ctrl + D has been added as a secondary shortcut for learning (leveling up) Tactical Skills.
*Changed settings are saved to your account and will also be applied in Cobalt Protocol.
Special Material Icon Display in Item Slots
Special Materials (Tree of Life, Meteorite, etc.) required for crafting items are now displayed as icons in the Late-game Item list and crafting window, allowing you to intuitively identify the materials you need.
